Same song, next verse. The Book of Judges reads like a tragedy, where people repeat disastrous behaviors time and time again. This story is familiar, however, to us all! It's the story of sin, slavery, and brokenness. In this message, Pastor Joey begins the look at Jephthah in Judges 11:1-29 as we discover an outcast, one rejected by men, who God enables to bring deliverance. It's a foreshadow (again) of Christ. We see Jephthah's boldness to protect Israel and call out deception. We also see the value of knowing and protecting history. Message preached on Sunday, October 13, 2019 at ParkerDC.
